Village of Bolingbrook Improves Resident ID Program
Residents of the village of Bolingbrook (a suburb of Chicago) can now acquire a resident ID card that provides them with priority and lower rates when registering for parks programs. The Resident ID program was designed to give village residents preferential treatment over nonresidents who don’t currently support the park district through tax dollars. The program enables card-holders to automatically register for programs online with a username and a password. Each card is valid for one year, and revalidation is free.
The district-validated ID card is required in order to receive resident rates at the aquatic park, golf course, fitness center, and lake area, as well as other park district programs and services. In order to receive a card, applicants must supply a current photo ID and proof of residency, such as a bill or vehicle registration card.
