The Fargo HDP5000 with lamination combines an innovative high definition printing process with single-sided lamination to produce incredibly secure and durable ID cards and badges. Using cutting-edge technology, the HDP5000 can meet the needs of virtually any ID card program, from basic photo IDs on up to sophisticated technology cards.

With lamination, you can add layers of protection to your ID cards. The HDP5000 applies a protective coat of laminate that shield cards from UV light, wear and tear, and also works to prevent tampering. Simply put, laminated card are much more durable and secure.

Another key advantage of the Fargo HDP5000 with Lamination is its high definition printing process. Design elements are first printed on a special high definition film which is then fused to the card. This adds yet another layer of protection to the card surface and results in truly professional cards with remarkable image quality.

The HDP5000 is extremely user friendly. It uses a cartridge-based system for ribbons, film and lamination, so changing out supplies and maintaining the printer is a quick and easy process.

Best of all, if your ID card program ever expands or requires further functionality, the printer is field-upgradeable. Its unique design allows you to add optional modules for duplex printing, and a variety of encoding technologies including magnetic stripe, proximity, and smart card encoding.
