The Fargo HDP5000 Duplex printer is the perfect solution for high-definition, dual-sided ID card printing. Dual-sided printing will save you time and energy especially for high-volume print jobs. And if you’re ID card program includes variable, personalized data on both sides of your cards, a full duplex printer is a must.

Along with offering enhanced speed and design flexibility, the HDP5000 Duplex produces ID cards of the highest professional quality thanks to an innovative high definition printing process. The print head never actually comes in direct contact with the card because the design elements are first printed on a special, high definition film. The film is then fused to the card. This extends the life of the print head while also providing exceptionally vivid and crisp images and text. High definition printing also serves as the ideal method for printing on cards with embedded electronics, for instance smart cards and proximity cards.

There’s no limit to the capabilities of the HDP5000. This is a printer that’s truly built for the next generation of ID card applications. It includes both USB and Ethernet interfaces for remote network operation. And its unique modular design allows users to add functionality to the system as their ID programs grow or change. Optional modules are field-upgradeable and include lamination, magnetic stripe encoding, smart card encoding, and proximity technology
